History-sheeter criminal pointed pistol at policeman in court, police started searching for the accused

Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. Ranjan Garg, a notorious history-sheeter of Lalkhadan area, pointed a pistol at a constable last night. The constable posted in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi (GPM) district had come to Bilaspur to drop his friend in the car. Meanwhile, Ranjan Garg came under the influence of alcohol and started waving the pistol at the constable. In this case, the constable has lodged a complaint at Torwa police station, after which the police has started searching for Ranjan Garg.

According to the information, Ravi Sharma is working as a constable in GPM district. He had come to Devrikhurd in Bilaspur on Wednesday night to drop off his friend’s car. Constable Ravi Sharma told in his complaint that he had called his friend in the chowk and was standing near the car waiting for him. Then, under the influence of alcohol, history-sheeter Ranjan Garg came staggering. He asked the constable where are you roaming here. After which he pointed the pistol in his hand. Seeing his actions, the constable engaged him in conversation, after some time Ranjan Garg left from there.

In this matter, Additional SP City Umesh Kashyap says that the constable has complained about the matter at Torwa police station. It has come to light that the constable was also under the influence of alcohol. Why did he come here late at night from Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, and what is his connection with Ranjan Garg. Aspects of the case are being investigated. Ranjan Garg is missing from his house. The truth of the matter will come out only after investigation.

Let us tell you that Ranjan Garg is a habitual scoundrel. He had murdered Ravikant Rai in Lalkhadan. Along with this, many cases are registered against him. He was serving life imprisonment in a murder case. After which he is on bail from the Supreme Court.
