    Due to a weather system originating in the Bay of Bengal, Chhattisgarh is experiencing adverse weather conditions. The region is likely to see heavy rainfall today. The weather forecast indicates heavy rainfall in South Chhattisgarh for the next two days, with an anticipated reduction in rain afterwards.

    Over the past day, most of the state received rainfall. Significant rainfall was recorded in several locations within the Raipur, Durg, and Bastar divisions. Bilaspur recorded a high of 32.6 degrees Celsius. Rainfall measurements include 14-14 cm in Gobra Nawapara and Rajim, 13 cm in Arang, 11-11 cm in Patan, Mandir Hasaud, Gunderdehi, Balod, and Mohla, 10-10 cm in Baloda Bazar and Khadgaon, 9-9 cm in Dhamtari, Pallari, Daundi, Audhi, Bhakhara, Pakhanjur, and Gurur, and 8-8 cm in Mana-Raipur Airport, Antagarh, Manpur, Bhilai, Pithora, Magarlod, Mahasamund, and Raipur city.

    Additionally, Chhura, Kurud, Nerharpura, Labhandih, Dharsiva, Orchha, Kasdol, Kukrel, Chhotedongar, Charama, Lawan, Mainpur, and Komakhan received 7-7 cm, while Bhanupratappur, Makdi, Kharora, Dungrikondal, Ghidhauri Tundra, Ahivara, Arjunda, Kutru, Kanker, and Simga saw 6-6 cm of rainfall. Most other areas experienced less than 6 cm of rainfall.

    Alerts have been issued by the weather department: An orange alert has been issued for Bastar, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, North Bastar Kanker, Dhamtari, and Gariaband for the next three hours, anticipating medium rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and high winds (30-40 km/h). A yellow alert has been issued for Sukma, Bijapur, South Bastar Dantewada, Bastar, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, North Bastar Kanker, Dhamtari, Balod, Rajnandgaon, Gariaband, Mahasamund, Raipur, Baloda Bazar, Durg, Bemetara, Surajpur, Korea, and Balrampur, indicating the possibility of moderate rainfall.

    Raipur Weather Outlook: Raipur is expected to have a predominantly cloudy sky today. Rainfall is expected, along with thunderstorms and lightning. The temperature is anticipated to fluctuate between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius.
