The Pendra district administration has taken firm action against employees due to lapses in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Rajkumar Sharma, the Secretary of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat, has been suspended due to negligence and dereliction of duty. Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant from the same panchayat, has been served with a show cause notice. Additionally, the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat will be transferred immediately. The action was taken following directives from District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaid, who has made it clear that negligence in government projects will not be tolerated. All panchayat employees have been warned that strict measures will be enforced against those found obstructing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. This move by the administration has created a ripple effect, prompting other panchayats to expedite and ensure transparency in their scheme implementation.
