In a tragic incident from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, 26-year-old Vedika Sagar has passed away 24 days after her boyfriend allegedly struck her with a beer bottle. The assault occurred at Metro Bar in the Amapara area during a party. Following a heated argument, T. Sunil Rao allegedly grabbed Vedika by her hair and smashed a bottle over her head, causing severe injuries. Despite 24 days of treatment at Ambedkar Hospital, she succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday. Police have now re-registered the case as a murder investigation following family protests.
