Ganesh Visarjan and Eid-Milad-un-Nabi: DJ Ban and Restrictions on Fireworks in Raipur

A peace committee meeting addressed preparations for Ganesh Visarjan and Eid-Milad-un-Nabi in Raipur, resulting in a ban on DJs and firecrackers. ADM Umashankar Bande and ASP Lakhan Patle engaged in discussions with community leaders. ASP Traffic I. Prashant Shukla and other department officials were present. Additional police forces will be stationed at various intersections and squares during the Ganesh Visarjan and Eid-Milad-un-Nabi festivals. The police have firmly stated that strict action will be taken against those who cause disturbances and disrupt peace. ASP Lakhan Patle stated that the timing of the processions would be strictly observed. The use of DJs is strictly prohibited. The use of firecrackers will also be prohibited this year. Traffic routes have been established, with traffic management as a priority. CCTV cameras will be used for monitoring purposes.
