In anticipation of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival on August 27th, the Raipur district administration has announced guidelines for the upcoming Ganesh Utsav. Preparations are in progress across the region. A meeting was organized with various committees to discuss the upcoming celebrations. Additional Collector Umashankar Bande and Additional SP Lakhan Patle led the meeting, emphasizing the importance of following NGT directives. The guidelines stipulate that committees must secure administrative permission before erecting pandals on roads. The use of loudspeakers will be prohibited after 10 PM, and CCTV cameras must be installed in every Ganesh Pandal. The committees are also instructed to deploy volunteers for security and nighttime surveillance.
