The Chhattisgarh government, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, is set to provide financial assistance to students and construction workers. A program at the New Circuit House on June 15 will see the distribution of ₹2 lakh each to 31 meritorious students who excelled in their 10th and 12th-grade board exams under the Mukhyamantri Noni Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana. The Labor Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan and Dr. Ram Pratap Singh will be present at the event. The initiative encompasses a two-wheeler grant and cash incentives. Moreover, over ₹19.71 crore will be disbursed to nearly 38,200 construction workers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under various welfare schemes, aimed at enhancing their quality of life.
