    Sudeep Upadhyay, Balrampur. In Balrampur, Chhattisgarh, a team of elephants attacked the couple who went to the field to tie the cattle. The elephants also uprooted the woman’s hand. At the same time, the husband is also seriously injured. Police reached the information, immediately admitted the injured husband and wife to the Ramanujganj Community Health Center, from where the medical college was referred to Ambikapur for better treatment in view of the condition of the woman.

    The villagers have made serious allegations against the forest department, saying that even after giving information about the arrival of elephants, the officials of the forest department did not reach the spot. Panic has spread among the villagers due to the terror of elephants in Phulwar village. This case is of Ramanujganj Forest Zone.
