Niyad Nella Nar Scheme Bringing the Light of Development to Villages
Raipur, March 16, 2025/ On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Niyad Nella Nar scheme, which was launched to provide basic facilities in Naxal-affected villages, has started bringing the light of development. Under this, 75 houses in Tekalgudiyam village of Penta Chimli Gram Panchayat under Purvarti Camp in Konta, the last block of Sukma district, have started shining with the light of electricity for the first time since independence. A new light has come into the lives of the residents there. Electrification has been completed in this area under the government’s Niyad Nellanar scheme, which will now make the lives of the people here easier. Executive Engineer of the Electricity Department, Shri Jekerketta, and his team have made a special contribution to the successful implementation of this important project. He worked with full commitment and hard work to bring electricity to the village. This was a historic moment for the people of Tekalgudiyam, who had been deprived of basic facilities for years. When electric bulbs lit up in the village for the first time, happiness was visible in the eyes of the villagers.
The Chhattisgarh government is rapidly carrying out development work in remote and Maoist-affected areas. Apart from electricity, basic facilities like roads, water, education, and health are being provided to every village. This initiative is proving that development is not limited to cities only, but rural and sensitive areas are also being given full benefits. The villagers of Tekalgudiyam say that now they will also be able to join the mainstream of development. Local administrative officials have also assured that other necessary facilities will also be provided in the village in the coming time.
Education and Development Will Gain Momentum
With the availability of electricity, many positive changes will now be seen in the village. Children will now be able to study better than before, as they will now be able to study in the light at night as well. Apart from this, small-scale trade and industries will also get a boost. With the arrival of electricity, digital services will expand, which will enable the people of the village to easily avail the benefits of various government schemes.
