In Korba, a man has been arrested for allegedly killing his younger brother. The incident occurred on Sunday when the older brother reportedly attacked the younger brother with a stick, resulting in his death. The motive behind the attack was the younger brother’s disruptive behavior while intoxicated. The older brother’s anger escalated to the point where he fatally struck his sibling. The house was empty at the time of the incident, as other family members were occupied in their fields. The local police from the Pali police station are investigating the matter.
Reports indicate that Tulsi Ram (30) and Ram Singh (40) lived in Kodar village. Both brothers lived nearby and were farmers. The events unfolded when Tulsi Ram, after consuming alcohol, went to Ram Singh’s house and started banging on the door.
Following the murder, the accused confessed to the neighbors.
Ram Singh tried to stop him, but Tulsi Ram persisted and started using abusive language. This led Ram Singh to lose his temper and strike Tulsi Ram on the head with a stick, leading to his immediate death. Ram Singh himself then went to the neighboring houses to announce he had killed his younger brother.
Upon receiving information from the villagers, the police reached the location and arrested the accused. Additional SP Nitish Thakur informed that Ram Singh has been arrested. The police are conducting further investigation into the case.
