Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. More than 30 people have once again fallen ill after drinking contaminated water in Dipupara, Tarbahar area of the city. Outbreaks of jaundice and diarrhea have been found among them. 30 jaundice patients have been found in this area in the last two days. Everyone has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. There is panic in the health department due to people suddenly falling ill. In the survey of the Health Department, patients suffering from both jaundice and diarrhea have been found. The department has taken samples and sent them to SIMS for testing.
Water coming from Khuntaghat Dam is being supplied in the city through Amrit Mission. Due to which people have started falling prey to diseases in many areas. In Dipupara, Tarbahar, 23 patients were found suffering from jaundice. Some patients also complain of diarrhea. Doctors and employees of the health department have conducted a survey and distributed medicines to all the patients. Besides, chlorine is also being distributed for cleaning water.
