    Two low-pressure areas in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal are the cause of the potential for rain and high winds in several states. Today’s Dussehra celebrations may be affected. Delhi anticipates rain and thunderstorms today. The sky in Delhi will be partly cloudy on October 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Rain is forecast for October 6th and 7th.

    **UP to Face the Wrath**

    The weather in Uttar Pradesh has changed, with dark clouds dominating the sky. Rain and thunderstorms are predicted in various districts of the state today, during Dussehra. The weather department forecasts a parade of monsoon clouds from Lucknow to Varanasi on Dussehra. The rain and thunderstorms are likely to persist in Uttar Pradesh for the next three days. Heavy rainfall is possible in numerous districts within the next 24 hours.

    **Bihar Weather Update**

    Bihar saw an abrupt change in the weather on Wednesday. Rain occurred in Patna and other districts. Rain is likely in many districts of Bihar on Dussehra. Today, a heavy rainfall warning has been issued for 19 districts in the state. The state, including Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, is likely to be overcast until October 3rd. The Dussehra celebrations may be disrupted by rain in the state. A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in some areas across 12 districts of the state on October 2nd and 3rd.

    **Impacted States**

    Heavy rain is predicted in the Northeast and South India through October 4th because of a cyclonic circulation. An alert for heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms has been issued for Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana. Uttarakhand may experience a return of the rain. On Dussehra, light to moderate rain is expected in several areas of the districts of Nainital, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh.

    **Weather Outlook in Himachal Pradesh**

    Light to moderate rain with lightning is expected in some areas of Dehradun. Himachal Pradesh will also experience rain on Dussehra. Light rain is possible in various parts of the state through October 4th. On October 5th, light to moderate rain is possible in some areas. On October 6th, light rain is predicted in many locations, while some locations might see heavy rain. Heavy rainfall is possible in specific regions of the state on October 7th.
