Road Accident. People from Chhattisgarh were returning by bus after visiting Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu, but met with an accident in Firozabad, UP on the way. A bus full of devotees overturned on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway at 3:30 am on Saturday. Two people including an innocent girl died in the accident. 35 people were injured. It is being said that the death toll may increase further.
The accident happened near kilometer number 51 in Nasirpur police station area on the expressway. On May 28, a bus full of devotees went from Chhattisgarh to visit Maa Vaishno Devi in Jammu. All 65 people in the bus were residents of Chhattisgarh. The devotees had reached Vrindavan after visiting Maa Vaishno Devi. From here, they left for Chhattisgarh via Prayagraj at around 1 o’clock last night. It is being told that this accident happened due to the driver dozing off. The bus went out of control and overturned after going down the expressway. After the information, the injured have been admitted to the hospital. The injured also include two girls aged 7 years and 14 years, who died during treatment. Both have not been identified yet.

Devotees were returning after visiting Vaishno Devi
All the people are residents of Chhattisgarh, who had come to Vrindavan after visiting Vaishno Devi and were going back to Chhattisgarh on Friday night. As soon as the information about the bus overturning was received, the employees present on the expressway and the Nasirpur inspector reached the spot and immediately took out the injured and took them to the Joint Hospital and Firozabad Medical College. Two people died here. At the same time 35 people were injured. The condition of many people is critical. They have been referred to Saifai, the rest of the injured are still being treated.

While the names of the two deceased could not be known till the time of writing the news.
