    The prosperity of our farmer brothers and sisters is the government’s top priority: Chief Minister Announcement of ₹50 Lakhs for Community Hall Expansion in Kosmnara Raigarh February 15, 2026/Addressing the establishment day and oath-taking ceremony organized at Kosmnara Dham on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudeo Sai said that when society is organized and aware, development gains real strength. The unity, education, and dedication of the Sahu community are playing a significant role in the social and economic upliftment of the state. Active participation of society is essential for building a developed Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister said that more than 25 lakh farmers selling paddy at support price will be provided the difference amount in one lump sum at the rate of ₹3100 per quintal before Holi. Approximately ₹10,000 crore will be directly transferred to the farmers’ accounts. He said that the prosperity of our farmer brothers and sisters is the government’s top priority and the government is committed to ensuring respect for the hard work of farmers. Earlier, Chief Minister Shri Sai offered prayers at Shri Shri 108 Satyanarayan Baba Ji and devotee Mata Karma-Krishna Temple in Kosmnara, wishing for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the state’s residents and extended greetings for Mahashivratri. Addressing the program, he said that since February 16, 1998, respected Satyanarayan Baba has been engaged in penance under the open sky. Performing Sadhana for more than 28 years in all three seasons is extremely unique and inspiring. This place has become a strong symbol of social harmony, faith, and brotherhood. The Chief Minister said that with Baba Ji’s blessings, he had the opportunity to be a Member of Parliament four times and today has the privilege of serving as Chief Minister. He prayed to Baba Bholenath and Baba Satyanarayan to continue showering their grace on the residents of the state. During the program, the Chief Minister announced ₹50 lakh for the additional construction above the Karma Sahu Community Hall in Kosmnara. He also mentioned the Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana and Mukhyamantri Tirth Darshan Yojana, stating that through these schemes, the residents of the state are getting the opportunity to travel to major pilgrimage sites across the country, including Ayodhya. During the ceremony, Tribhuvan Sahu, Bharat Lal Sahu, Kapil Nath, Aruna Sahu, Manoj Sahu, and Vedram Sahu were honored for their outstanding contributions to social welfare. The magazine of Korba District Sahu Sangh and Baba Satyanarayan Chalisa were also released. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao extended greetings for Mahashivratri and said that the unity of the Sahu community will play an important role in building a developed Chhattisgarh. Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary provided information about proposed development works worth approximately one and a half crore rupees for Kosmnara Dham. State President of Sahu Samaj, Dr. Narendra Sahu, administered the oath to the newly elected district Sahu Sangh office bearers from seven districts of Bilaspur division. The program was attended by Lok Sabha MP Shri Radheshyam Rathiya, Kasdol MLA Shri Sandeep Sahu, Jajepur MLA Shri Baleshwar Sahu, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Shri Jivardhan Chauhan, former MP Shri Lakhanlal Sahu, Telghani Board Chairman Shri Jitendra Sahu, Shri Digriyal Sahu, along with newly elected office bearers from seven districts of Bilaspur division, Baba Satyanarayan’s mother Hansmati Devi, Divisional Commissioner Shri Sunil Jain, IG Shri Ramgopal Garg, Collector Shri Mayank Chaturvedi, and Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Shashi Mohan Singh, along with other officials, local representatives, and a large number of devotees.
