Gariaband. The Hindu organization blocked the National Highway in Rajim demanding arrest of the real culprits who demolished the Shiva temple. Hundreds of workers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal of the district today gathered at Pandit Shyamacharan Shukla of Rajim and blocked National Highway 130 C. Angry organizations are continuously raising slogans. Due to the jam, long queues of vehicles have formed at both ends.
In fact, the Shivalaya situated in Dutkaiya village of Rajim police station area was not only vandalized by some anti-social elements on the night of 30th April but liquor was also poured on it. As soon as the information about the case came to light on the morning of May 1, villager Bodhan Sahu complained about the case at Rajim police station. Rajim police have registered the case and started investigation. The next day, the police took the accused named Ahmed Khan into custody and started interrogating him, in which the accused confessed to carrying out the incident along with a minor and three others.
The police admitted one accused to jail on 3 May. The accused named Safi Khan, along with a minor, were out of police custody. There is information that they have also been arrested by the police. Here, officials of Hindu organization Shishupal Singh Rajput and Gaurishankar Kashyap said that the real culprits of the incident have not been caught, but the one who was a habitual accused, who was to be arrested in other incidents, was arrested and gratified. Right now the police is avoiding saying anything in the matter.
