    Delhi to Experience Rainfall During Durga Puja, Rain Alerts Across Multiple States

    For the past two days, the national capital, Delhi, has been experiencing cloudy skies. There has been a reduction in the harshness of the sun and the humidity. Despite this, people in the region are still grappling with the heat. There hasn’t been any major shift in the temperature. However, the weather forecast brings good news for Delhi residents. Relief from the heat and humidity experienced over the last 10 days could be on the horizon. Rainfall is expected in Delhi today and tomorrow, potentially creating pleasant weather conditions during Navratri.

    The weather department anticipates overcast skies and the likelihood of light rain or drizzle in Delhi for today and tomorrow. The India Meteorological Department has also issued a rain forecast for October 1st. The drop in temperature that will accompany the rain will bring much-needed relief to the public.

    In Uttar Pradesh, scorching heat is prevalent during the day. The weather department predicts the possibility of rain and thunderstorms in some parts of western and eastern UP, though heavy rainfall is not expected anywhere in the state. Rain might occur in some areas of western UP and eastern UP on October 1st. No rain is expected in the state for the next week.

    The weather in Bihar is expected to be mixed today, with sunshine and light showers in some areas. Light to moderate rain could occur in Purnia, Katihar, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Saharsa, and Madhepura. Thunderstorms are possible in Patna, Gaya, and most districts of South Bihar, while heavy rainfall is likely from October 1st to 4th.

    Heavy rainfall is expected in Jharkhand from October 2nd to 4th, in West Bengal and Sikkim between October 2nd and 4th, in Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha between October 4th and 5th, and in Chhattisgarh and Odisha on October 3rd. The weather department predicts heavy rainfall in the Saurashtra and Kutch regions of Gujarat today. Heavy rain is also expected in Konkan and Goa today. Mumbai may experience rain.

    Light to moderate rain is possible in Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Nagaland from October 1st to 5th. A warning for heavy rain has been issued by the weather department on October 2nd and 3rd. Light to moderate rain may occur in Pithoragarh and Bageshwar in Uttarakhand today.

    Showers with thunderstorms are expected in these areas, while light to very light rain may be seen in other mountainous districts.
