Raipur, March 20, 2025 / A decisive campaign is rapidly progressing in Chhattisgarh towards the complete eradication of Naxalism. Today, security forces killed 30 Naxalites in major operations in Bijapur-Gangaloor and Kanker-Narayanpur. Among these, 26 Naxalites were killed in Bijapur-Gangaloor and 4 in Kanker-Narayanpur.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, while describing this success as a significant achievement in the direction of eliminating Naxalism, said that he salutes the bravery and indomitable courage of the security forces. He said that our fight against Naxalism in Chhattisgarh is going on strongly. This struggle will not stop until the state becomes completely Naxal-free.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while saluting the martyrdom of a DRG soldier during this operation, said that the sacrifices of our brave soldiers will never be forgotten. He has made the supreme sacrifice to make Chhattisgarh safe and peaceful. His sacrifice will not go in vain.
Complete Elimination of Naxalism by 2026 – Rapidly Moving Towards Resolution
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while reiterating the resolution of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah to completely eliminate Naxalism from the country by March 31, 2026, said that this success of the security forces is a major step towards achieving this goal. He said that I am fully confident that the resolution of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah will be fulfilled. Every citizen of the state will live a fearless life. The last hour of Naxalism has come.

The continuous successful actions of the security forces in the state have made it clear that the end of Naxalism is now near.
