Decisions of the Council of Ministers

Important decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting held today at Mahanadi Bhawan, Ministry here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai –

    1) The Cabinet has decided that the required quantity of 2 kg of gram to be distributed every month under the Public Distribution System to the Antyodaya and priority category families living in the Scheduled Areas and MADA pocket areas of the state will be purchased by the Civil Supplies Corporation through the NeML e-auction platform. This purchase will be done at the approved 0.25 percent or less transaction/service charge in the financial year 2024-25.

Along with this, the Cabinet has said that those beneficiaries who have not taken gram from July 2025 to November 2025, this gram should be distributed to them by December 2025 as per eligibility.

    2) The Cabinet has decided to allot a plot of 90 acres of land at a subsidized premium rate to encourage the establishment of information technology (IT/IITS) industry in Nava Raipur. The purpose of this decision is to attract investment in the IT sector and accelerate industrial development. The availability of land at subsidized rates will increase the participation of the private sector and also create new employment opportunities.

With this initiative, not only technical and economic activities will be promoted in Nava Raipur, but also the process of settlement and urbanization here will also be strengthened. The establishment of IT companies will develop infrastructure in the area, which will also directly and indirectly benefit the local residents.
