A horrifying case of pre-planned murder has surfaced in the Balodabazar district of Chhattisgarh, where a woman allegedly orchestrated the brutal killing of her husband. The victim, 39-year-old Gas Kumar Joshi, was found decapitated near the Hathband-Bhatapara railway tracks. The investigation revealed a chilling plot involving contract killers hired by his wife, Kusum Joshi, who claimed she was pushed to the edge by continuous physical and mental torture. According to the police, the crime was executed with extreme brutality to ensure the identity of the victim remained hidden. While the torso was dumped on the railway tracks to mislead investigators into thinking it was a train accident, the head was carried ten kilometers away and buried in a remote pit. The breakthrough in the case came through a small tattoo on the victim’s wrist, which eventually led the police to the suspects. Kusum Joshi has been arrested along with her accomplices, including her maternal uncle and two professional hitmen hired for the job.
