    Daylight robbery case in jewelery shop: Two absconding accused arrested from Bihar, jewelery worth Rs 70 lakh recovered

    Sudeep Upadhyay, Balrampur. Police have arrested two absconding accused in the case of broad daylight robbery in a jewelery shop from Aurangabad, Bihar. Gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 70 lakh, one piece of country-made pistol and 5 live cartridges have been recovered from the possession of the accused. Before this, the police had arrested 6 accused including a woman.

    Balrampur Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Banker Ramanlal has revealed the entire matter. He told that on September 11, armed robbers had looted Rs 2 crore 92 lakh at gunpoint in a jewelery shop in broad daylight. Balrampur police registered the case and were searching for the accused. 6 accused were arrested from 5 different states Delhi, Jharkhand, Bihar and Punjab. Jewelery worth Rs 2 crore 40 lakh was seized from these accused.

    In this incident, the main accused Sonu alias Anand Soni had also kept his girlfriend Anjani Ekka in the gang to embezzle the loot. His girlfriend used to distribute the looted goods at different places. The police had seized the gold jewelery from the girl and seized her bank account, which contained Rs 5 lakh 80 thousand. Two absconding accused involved in this incident have been arrested from Bihar. Gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 70 lakh, one piece of country-made pistol and 5 live cartridges have been recovered from their possession.

    Names of accused caught in robbery

    The accused in the jewelery shop robbery case are Monu Soni alias Buki (Palamu, Jharkhand), Sonu Soni alias Anand Soni (Palamu, Jharkhand), Rahul Mehta (Aurangabad, Bihar), Vicky Singh (Aurangabad, Bihar), Arvind Soni (Palamu, Jharkhand ) and Anjani Ekka (accused Sonu’s girlfriend) Chandigarh police has already arrested. Now the absconding accused Radheshyam Paswan Bihar, Rohit Singh Bihar have been arrested.
