Nitin Namdev, Raipur. The Chhattisgarh Development Commissioner Office has recently given instructions for snatching in the MNREGA department. Regarding this, the daily wage earners of MNREGA have submitted a memorandum in the name of Deputy CM Vijay Sharma. The employees have demanded to stop the spray in the department and get pending salary through the memorandum.
Let me tell you, recently, if the Chhattisgarh Development Commissioner Office issued a letter, out of the total sanctioned posts of Mahatma Gandhi MNREGA, if the appointment of employees in additional number of employees has been done at the collector rate, then the services of such employees should be abolished immediately. Under any circumstances, more employees should not be employed than the approved post.
Giving information, State General Secretary Praveen Kumar Singh said that 800 daily wage earners in Chhattisgarh have been working in Chhattisgarh State Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Scheme Department for the last 10 years. All workers are working at the rate. But by this order, all of us employees are shocked by this order.
Praveen Singh said that along with the MNREGA department as well as the works of Panchayat and Rural Development Department and all the works related to Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, three-level panchayat elections are being done day and night. Despite these, our services are being terminated, which is unfair. Praveen further said that in the last 10 years, the MNREGA department was not recruited on contractual posts, due to which all the daily salaried employees have been appointed in the district and district to complete the work within the deadline.
Our duty is also imposed to complete the housing, Mahtari Vandan and other important schemes of the government on time. But in this way, by issuing orders, we are being removed from the work suddenly. Due to which we will become unemployed. There will be a difficult problem in the maintenance of our family.
At the same time, State President Frontier Prajapati said that the MNREGA employees have demanded to adjourn the order issued for additional working collector and adjust them and issue orders to keep them in the work.
