Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. A case of bloodshed has come to light in a wedding ceremony in Budhi Khar village of the district. There was a huge dispute among the family members over not being allowed to eat and drink at the wedding. During this, the cousin stabbed his cousin in the neck with a knife. In the attack, the young man fell on the ground drenched in blood. The injured is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
According to the information received, this entire matter is related to the village Budhi Khar program of Malhar Chowki. Luv Kumar Miri, who was hurt due to a fight at a marriage function here, was fatally attacked by his cousin Vijay Miri (aged 27) with a knife in the neck on May 4 at around 11 pm over a dispute over food and drink. Luv Kumar, injured in the attack, was admitted to the hospital for treatment. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the hospital and the injured was interrogated. During interrogation, she told that her cousin Vijay Miri stabbed her in the neck with a vegetable cutting knife with the intention of killing her because she was not allowed to eat or drink at the wedding function. Due to which he became drenched in blood and became unconscious. After that the injured was admitted to Swastik Hospital Bilaspur for treatment. The applicant registered a report in the matter and started investigation. In that case, the police caught the accused and interrogated him. During this time he admitted to committing the crime. In the case, the police have seized the knife used in the incident from the accused.
