The state of Chhattisgarh is experiencing a slow increase in COVID-19 cases. Recent data from the Corona Control and Demand Center reveals that 12 new individuals have tested positive for the virus. In a positive development, 15 patients have recovered completely and have been discharged from care.

Raipur is the worst-affected area, with 6 new cases. Bilaspur reported 4 new cases, and Durg district recorded 2 new infections. Across the state, 45 patients have successfully recovered from COVID-19.

Chhattisgarh now has 42 active cases. Among these, 35 patients are undergoing home isolation and are not showing severe symptoms. Six patients are admitted in regular wards for treatment. One patient is in critical condition and is being treated in the ICU.

The Chhattisgarh Health Department is advising individuals to get tested immediately if they experience symptoms of cold, cough, fever, or any breathing issues. They emphasize that while panic is unnecessary, it is important to remain cautious and vigilant.
