The village of Dhanneli in Chhattisgarh is reeling from the tragic suicide of a young couple. The man and woman were discovered hanging together from a babul tree near the Khadakhodi pond. The man has been identified as Shailendra Kewat, residing in Amora, who had gotten married just three months prior. The woman, Ramkumari Singh, 36, hailed from Sohagpur, Korba. Authorities were notified and responded swiftly, recovering the bodies and initiating a probe into the circumstances surrounding the deaths. The incident falls under the Pamgarh police station’s purview.
