    Mahatari Vandan Yojana Becomes Support

    Rural women told Chief Minister Mr. Sai that they are also benefiting from the state government’s Mahtari Vandan Yojana. This scheme provides them with financial assistance, which allows them to manage their daily expenses, as well as save some money for their children’s education and future.

    Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sharma said that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s clear goal is that every citizen of the country has the right to live a dignified life, in which a permanent house is a basic necessity. He said that the Chhattisgarh government is working with the resolution that no eligible citizen should be deprived of the government’s schemes. He also informed that for the year 2024-25, a target has been set to construct a total of 11,50,315 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin in the state, out of which 9,41,595 houses have already been sanctioned. Out of these, 1,78,476 houses have been completely constructed and the rest are under construction. So far, a total of 3,59,037 beneficiaries have received housing. He said that beneficiaries will also be able to upload their information themselves through a mobile app, especially using digital means. The GRIH portal has also been developed by the state government to make this process more transparent and simple.

    On this occasion, Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap, MP Mr. Mahesh Kashyap, MLA Jagdalpur Mr. Kiran Dev, MLA Chitrakot Mr. Vinayak Goyal, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Jagdalpur Mr. Sanjay Pandey along with many public representatives and a large number of villagers were present.
