Raipur. The two-day Chintan Shivir of the Chhattisgarh government cabinet began on Friday at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Naya Raipur. Congress has raised objections to this Chintan Shivir and has complained in writing to the Election Commission. Congress has surrounded the government on this issue and said that this is a case of open violation of the Model Code of Conduct. The Election Commission should take action on this. Former minister and MLA Rajesh Munat has retaliated to the allegations being made by the Congress. Along with this, he gave information about BJP’s preparations for the counting of votes.

Former minister and MLA Rajesh Munat, regarding the objection of Congress on the Chintan Shivir of Sai Government, said that how is the code of conduct being violated in this? No legal decision of any kind is being taken in the Chintan Shivir. How can the problems of the common people of Chhattisgarh be solved by using the time properly, training is being given for the development of the government along with the public. Former minister Munat, while hitting back at the Congress, said that Congress has a habit of interfering. On the boycott of the exit poll debate by Congress, former minister Rajesh Munat, while targeting the Congress, said that what is the need for Congress to participate. He said that when the result is clear, what difference will it make if one participates or not.

On the investigation committee formed to investigate the rice scam, Rajesh Moonat said that the rice scam has been in discussion for many days. An assembly level committee of MLAs has been formed to investigate it. Currently, the MLAs are investigating the facts under the chairmanship of Punnulal Mohle. After the investigation is complete, the assembly will take a decision on whatever facts emerge.

On BJP’s preparations for counting of votes, former minister Rajesh Munat said that with the end of elections, everyone waits for the result. Small things have to be looked at. So that, no mistake is made which affects the result. We have learned a lot from two elections. Our aim is to make workers, polling agents and counting agents and RO aware. Former minister Rajesh Munat said that in view of counting of votes, BJP has formed a team from Lok Sabha to Vidhan Sabha level. We will give information on what things should be kept in mind during counting of votes, what should be investigated, so that counting of votes can be done in an orderly manner.

On the post congratulating Raipur BJP candidate and Raipur South MLA Brijmohan Agarwal in advance, Rajesh Munat said that this is not overconfidence. He said that the Congress National Secretary contested the election, but was he seen anywhere on the field? I had raised this question earlier as well that this was the election of the Congress National Secretary and not the Congress candidate. We had defeated him earlier in the West Assembly elections. Now in the Lok Sabha, we will defeat him by double the number.
