Raipur/Jashpur. We have to be cautious of those who say that tribals are not Hindus, such heretics. We tribal people worship Shiva-Parvati, no one can be a bigger Hindu than the tribals. We should not be misled by the heretics who are trying to break the unity of the tribals, we should give a befitting reply to them. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this today at Sarhul Sarna Puja Mahotsav, the biggest festival of tribals, at Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram in Jashpur.
While congratulating and wishing the people of Chhattisgarh on the occasion of Hindu New Year and Navratri, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that it is a tradition to organize Sarhul Khaddi Puja here every year on the day of Chaitra Pratipada. I have been a worker of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram since the beginning. Every time I try to be among you all in this puja, to have darshan of all of you.
He said that today I am assuming the responsibility of the Chief Minister of the state because of Mahadev-Parvati, Balaji Bhagwan, Khudia Rani, our Gods and Goddesses, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Dilip Singh Judev Ji, Balasaheb Deshpande Ji, Jagdev Oraon Ji and all of you. I am blessed. He said that being a Chief Minister, it is my responsibility that the name of Jashpur should be high, the name of Jashpur should never be low, I seek blessings from all of you.
The Chief Minister said that in Sarhul Khaddi Puja, we worship the tribal nature, trees and plants, Sarai tree. We the tribals ask for forgiveness from Mother Earth, Mahadev-Parvati for whatever we do and the mistakes we make throughout the year. Today, we worship Mother Earth and Mahadev-Parvati and seek their blessings so that in the coming year, our lives are auspicious and happy, our family lives well, farming is good and rainfall is good. I pray to Mother Earth and Mahadev-Parvati that there should always be happiness and prosperity in Chhattisgarh and that everyone’s life should be happy.
Sai said that Shakti is worshiped during Navratri. So our nature is also a form of power. Prakriti is also a name of Maa Durga. We tribals worship both nature and power since the beginning.
The Chief Minister said that in the assembly elections, all of you believed in Modi’s guarantee and gave your full blessings to BJP and won the elections. Today, I am happy to say that in 100 days we have fulfilled the main promise of Modi’s guarantee on priority. State share for 18 lakh PM housing was released on 14th December, the second day of swearing in. Now in the month of April, 60% share of the Center will also be received, then the construction of PM residence for 18 lakh families will start rapidly.
He said that on December 25, the birth anniversary of the creator of Chhattisgarh state, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, 2 years’ outstanding paddy purchase bonus of Rs 3716 crore was given to more than 12 lakh farmers of the state, under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, 70 lakh 12 thousand 417 women were given the bonus. The second installment has also been released, any women who have missed filling the form can fill the form again, this scheme will continue in future also.
He said that 21 quintals of paddy was purchased per acre, paddy was purchased at Rs 3100 per quintal, an amount of Rs 13,320 crore was also released to 24.72 lakh farmers of the state at the rate of Rs 917 per quintal, Ramlala Darshan Scheme has also been started. Yes, the government is taking Ram devotees for the darshan of Ramlala at its own expense.
The Chief Minister said that we have also given orders to purchase tendu leaves from tendu leaf collectors at the rate of Rs 5500 per standard bag, and have also announced the resumption of Charan Paduka scheme. Our guarantee of providing cheap gas cylinders and Rs 10,000 annually to landless workers will also be fulfilled.
Remembered Dilip Singh Judev
Remembering Dilip Singh Judev, the Chief Minister said that Jashpur was saved by Kumar Saheb. He prevented the conversion of tribals, conducted dozens of padyatras, organized homecoming programs, despite being a king, washed the feet of lakhs of converts and brought them back to Hinduism. We carried out several marches against cow slaughter, only then our Jashpur was saved. We have to follow the path shown by Raja Saheb and not get misled by heretics. A befitting reply has to be given to conversion, Jashpur has to be saved. Can be increased.
