In view of the seriousness of the case, the district administration decided to test DNA. Samples of both newborns and their potential parents were taken for DNA testing, which reached the DNA report closed with the Child Welfare Committee. The DNA report opened in the presence of both families made it clear that the children were really swap in the hospital.
