Raipur, April 7th, 2025/Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the state-wide launch of the Good Governance Festival is scheduled to begin on April 8th, to address the problems of the public and meet them face-to-face. This Good Governance Festival, to be held in three phases, will run until May 31st.
In the first phase, from April 8th to April 11th, applications will be received directly from the general public at the offices of village panchayats and urban local bodies. Under the Good Governance Festival, applications will also be received through the online application portal and Common Service Centers. Solution boxes will also be placed in development blocks and district headquarters to receive applications.
It is noteworthy that the state of Chhattisgarh is celebrating the Silver Jubilee of its establishment this year. Fortunately, this year is also the birth centenary year of Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister, late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, the creator of the state of Chhattisgarh, which the state government is celebrating as “Atal Nirman Varsh” (Atal Construction Year). The organization of Good Governance Festival-2025 is an important initiative in the series of efforts being made by the state government towards good governance.
Under the Good Governance Festival-2025, all received applications will be entered into the software and submitted to the concerned departments, and their resolution will be ensured within one month.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has instructed all District Collectors to ensure the orderly organization of the Good Governance Festival and the prompt resolution of applications received under it. He said that the status and quality of resolution at the state and district levels will also be reviewed.
Solution Camps and Promotion of Schemes
In the third phase, solution camps will be organized in the middle of 8 to 15 gram panchayats in each district. Camps will also be organized in urban local bodies as needed.
In the camps, the general public will be informed about the status of their application, and wherever possible, the application will be resolved quickly on the spot. The remaining problems will be resolved within a month and information will be provided. Information about public welfare schemes will be provided in the camps, and application forms for beneficiary-oriented schemes will also be made available. The active participation of MPs, MLAs and other public representatives is being ensured in this campaign. The Chief Minister, Ministers, Chief Secretary, Secretary-in-charge and senior officers will themselves be present in the camps to interact with the general public, and take feedback on the benefits being received from development works and schemes. At the same time, the reality of the ongoing works will also be assessed through surprise inspections.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has said that the objective of Good Governance Festival 2025 is to effectively and quickly resolve the problems of the general public, to bring transparency in government works and to establish direct communication with the public.
He has appealed to the people of the state to join the Good Governance Festival and inform the government administration of their problems so that concrete steps can be taken towards their solution.
