Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai danced to the beats of Maander.

Raipur, 14 October 2024/ When Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai arrived at Lailunga to participate in the Karma Mahotsav, a group of Karma dance artists were performing to welcome him. Beautiful folk songs were being sung on the beat of Maander. The Chief Minister, deeply rooted in folk culture, could not give up its charm. He held the mandar and moved forward dancing to the beat of the mandar. Along with him, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal also held the flag. On this occasion, MP Raigarh Lok Sabha Shri Radheshyam Rathiya, MP Rajya Sabha Shri Devendra Pratap Singh, MLA Baikunthpur Shri Bhaiyalal Rajwade were also present.

It is noteworthy that Karma festival is an integral part of tribal culture. This shows the deep love of the tribes towards nature. The dancers dance their feet enthusiastically on folk songs and the energy of the dancers increases even more due to the beat of Maander. The joy of Karma festival increases manifold by the beautiful art display of tribal culture amidst the beautiful environment of nature.
