    Attended the Pagdi Rasam ceremony at Agresen Bhawan Korba and paid homage

    Raipur, October 27, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today participated in the Pagdi Rasam ceremony of the former Deputy Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Assembly, late Shri Banwari Lal Agarwal, held at Agresen Bhawan in Korba. He paid tribute to the late Agarwal by offering floral tributes to his portrait. The Chief Minister met with the wife of late Shri Banwari Lal Agarwal, Mrs. Pushpa Agarwal, and members of his family, consoled them, and expressed his deep condolences.

    Shri Sai said that the life of late Shri Banwari Lal Agarwal was a symbol of public service and dedication. He always worked for the development of Korba district and the welfare of the people. His simplicity, humility, and social sensitivity will remain a source of inspiration for all of us.

    Elected representatives, social organizations, distinguished citizens, and a large number of devotees were present at the event. Everyone remembered the contribution of the late Agarwal and resolved to follow his ideals. During this, MLA Katghora Shri Premchand Patel, former Speaker of the Assembly Shri Gaurishankar Agarwal, Shri Mahavir Agarwal, Shri Bajrang Lal Agarwal, Bihari Lal Agarwal, and other public representatives were present.
