    Chief Minister Shri Sai, who suddenly reached village Kanakbira of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, interacted with the villagers in Chhattisgarhi. He inquired about the health of Tikaram from the village. He said that no money or recommendation will work in the recruitment processes. The Chief Minister also inquired about the electricity situation in the village, the distribution of food grains in ration shops, and the receipt of funds from the beneficiaries of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He said that necessary guidelines have been given to the officers to ensure the availability of drinking water under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The Chief Minister encouraged the farmers to take other beneficial crops including maize, urad, moong, etc. apart from paddy. He said that paddy crop requires more water. The demand for electricity also increases during the summer days. Therefore, farmers should also take other crops.

    *Announcement of culvert, Mangal Bhavan, Kanya Hostel and Panchayat Bhawan in the drain*

    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, along with the interaction with the villagers in Kanakbira, announced the construction of a culvert on the Nargikhola Laat Nala, a dependent village of Kanakbira, the construction of Mangal Bhawan in Kanakbira, Kanya Hostel and Panchayat Bhawan in Godam on the demand of the villagers.

    *Sat the first MLA of Sarangarh with him*

    When Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the head of the state, who had come on a surprise inspection to village Kanakbira, started interacting with the villagers by setting up a chaupal under the Gulmohar tree, his eyes fell on Shri Shamsher Singh, the first and former MLA of Sarangarh assembly, sitting below. He called him with great warmth and called him near him and made him sit by giving a chair. The Chief Minister also inquired about the well-being of the former MLA Shri Shamsher Singh by talking to him. The former MLA told the Chief Minister that he is doing social service work in the area and has also built a temple.

    *Presented his own Safa to 85-year-old Bhagirathi Sahu*

    Seeing the helicopter landing in village Kanakbira, 85-year-old Bhagirathi Sahu, who came to the Chief Minister’s chaupal with the help of a stick, although could not see the Chief Minister speaking in the crowd, he was listening to him with full concentration. As soon as the interaction ended at the chaupal, when Chief Minister Shri Sai met Bhagirathi Sahu, he told him about his well-being. The Chief Minister, putting his hand on his shoulder, met Bhagirathi with a lot of affection. While leaving, the Chief Minister took off the Safa from his neck and put it around the neck of Bhagirathi Sahu and expressed respect. Chief Minister Shri Sai also presented a key ring to the villagers.

    Due to bad weather, Chief Minister Shri Sai left for Raigarh via road. He also visited Maa Durga at Durga temple in Kanakbira.
