Raipur, August 15, 2025/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today flagged off the SBI Cyber Vigilance Rath (audio-video van) from the Chief Minister’s residence complex in the capital Raipur and launched the state-level cyber awareness campaign.

Digital transactions have become faster and more convenient, but along with this, challenges like cyber fraud have also increased. He said that with a little alertness and caution, people can avoid cyber fraud.

The Chief Minister said that this awareness campaign is an effective effort to increase people’s understanding of cyber security. Under this, people will be informed about cyber fraud through audio-video messages, street plays and puppet shows. Shri Sai said that 29 such hotspots have been identified in the state, where cases of cyber fraud are more and this rath will have a special focus on those places.

Chief Minister Shri Sai appealed to the people not to share confidential information, password or OTP of their bank account with anyone and avoid clicking on unknown links. He said that cyber thugs are constantly trying to cheat people by adopting new methods. A little carelessness can be costly for hard earned money. Our endeavor is that more and more people become aware and protect themselves from cyber crime.

It is noteworthy that, considering the increasing incidents of fraud and unauthorized transactions through digital medium, State Bank of India (SBI), being “Banker of every Indian”, has launched a state-wide cyber security awareness campaign.
