    Chief Minister inaugurated the Good Governance Vatika at IIM Raipur campus

    Planted a Maulsree sapling in the Good Governance Vatika with members of the cabinet

    Raipur, June 08, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the Good Governance Vatika at the IIM campus this evening on the first day of Chintan Shivir 2.0 held at the Indian Institute of Management Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Sai planted a Maulsree sapling in the Good Governance Vatika with the members of the cabinet.

    Along with Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao and Shri Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Finance Shri OP Choudhary, Industry Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan, Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Food Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel, Health Minister Shri Shyambihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rahul Bhagat, Director of IIM Raipur Prof. Ram Kumar Kankani also planted the Maulsree sapling.

    Features of the Maulsree tree

    Maulsree is a fragrant flowering tree found in the Indian subcontinent, South Asia and Southeast Asia. It is an evergreen tree which is usually 10-15 meters high.
    Its flowers are small, white or light yellow in color, highly fragrant. Their fragrance becomes even stronger at night. The Maulsree tree also has medicinal properties and is used to treat many types of problems. Traditionally, it has been planted around temples and in the courtyards of houses.
