Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee year will be celebrated as ‘Atal Nirman Varsh’: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai

Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth centenary was celebrated at Saraitoli in Jashpur with the Atal Good Governance Chaupal, attended by the Chief Minister.

Raipur, December 25, 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today participated in the Atal Good Governance Chaupal organized in Saraitoli, Jashpur, on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He paid homage to the revered Atal Ji, the maker of Chhattisgarh, on behalf of the people of Chhattisgarh. Recalling his contribution to nation-building, the Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee year will be celebrated as ‘Atal Nirman Varsh’. During this time, infrastructure development works will be prioritized. He said that our state Chhattisgarh is his contribution. He said that Atal Ji always remained steadfast in his values and principles. Today, his birth anniversary is being celebrated as Good Governance Day across the state.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Atal Ji believed that the development of Chhattisgarh would lead to rapid development of this region. The residents and tribals here will get better opportunities to progress. Their progress will be strengthened. The Chief Minister said that in line with Atal Ji’s wishes, the state government is fulfilling the dream of building a prosperous and developed Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government is continuously working to fulfill Modi’s guarantees in the state. Paddy is being procured at a rate of ₹3100 per quintal and 21 quintals per acre. Under the Mahatari Vandana Yojana, 70 lakh mothers and sisters are being given ₹1000 per month through DBT. Along with the Ramlala Darshan Yojana, the Tirth Yatra Yojana will also be launched soon. The tendu leaf collection remuneration rate has been increased from ₹4000 to ₹5500. The CBI has started investigating the CGPSC scam. Continuous action is being taken against those involved. This has restored the students’ faith in CGPSC.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the administrative system is being made more convenient and transparent. The Department of Good Governance and Convergence has been formed for good governance. A decisive battle is being fought to eliminate Naxalism in Bastar. The state government is working with commitment for the development of all sections across the state.

Pathalgaon MLA Smt. Gomati Sai said that the people of Chhattisgarh, along with the entire country, are very grateful for the contribution of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji. He gave us the gift of a separate state in the form of Chhattisgarh. Today, the double-engine government in Chhattisgarh is rapidly advancing development works. We have fulfilled most of Modi’s guarantees within a year.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai announced the opening of an Apex Bank branch in Farsabahar for the convenience of farmers in the area. Along with this, he announced the construction of a suspension bridge on the lines of the Lakshman Jhula from Kotaibira to Kapatdwar, along with other development works.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai inspected the stalls set up by various departments at the Atal Good Governance Chaupal and provided assistance to beneficiaries and assistive devices to the differently-abled. He gave registration certificates to the Fishermen Cooperative Society and Dairy Producer Cooperative Societies and wished them a bright future. The Chief Minister distributed Pay-KCC cards by the Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Bank, along with motorized tricycles to many beneficiaries, National Family Assistance, and disability certificates to differently-abled children. He also encouraged differently-abled children to study well. He honored the health workers who performed excellent work in the health sector. Along with this, he gave a check of ₹80,000 to Maa Tarini Self Help Group and ₹1 lakh to Jay Maa Ambe Self Help Group through the Chhattisgarh Women’s Fund.
