Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of the new Chhattisgarh Assembly building. The primary focus of the inspection was the progress of interior and furniture work. He directed the Public Works Department to ensure timely completion of all remaining tasks. The new assembly is expected to be ready for dedication on November 1st. The structure includes the Assembly Secretariat, offices for the Deputy Chief Ministers and Ministers, the Assembly House, a Central Hall, and offices for the Chief Minister and Assembly Speaker. The design of the new Assembly building incorporates elements of Chhattisgarh’s rich culture. The building, encompassing 52 acres, will have seating for 200 members in the assembly hall. The complex is planned to include a 500-seat auditorium and parking facilities for 700 vehicles, along with two lakes.
