Chhattisgarh: Roads collapsed due to strong water flow, connectivity of many villages disrupted, public life disrupted

Balrampur. In Chhattisgarh’s Balrampur district, rivers and streams are overflowing due to heavy rains for the last 12 hours. Many villages have lost contact due to the bridge and road being washed away on the Pansara Chalgali road from the Wadrafnagar development block of the district. Due to this, movement has come to a complete halt. At the same time, people’s lives are also being greatly affected due to the continuous rain.

Let us tell you, this road was built under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. But due to heavy rains, the road got washed away and the local people are facing a lot of problems due to the obstruction in movement. The villagers have demanded from the government through the media to provide temporary facilities for movement till the road is built, so that they do not have to be deprived of basic facilities.
