Chhattisgarh News: The accused surrounded the Patwari who had gone to measure the land. He snatched the car keys and mobile and threatened to kill him. The accused said that they should not be seen in the village again. Kota police has arrested the accused. According to the police, Tarun Kumar Sahu, resident of Uslapur, father KN Sahu (36 years) is a Patwari in village Semaria of Kota area. On the orders of Tehsildar Kota, Bhagwan Singh, who lives in Patwari village, had gone to inspect the 1.805 acres of land belonging to his father Narayan Singh.
During this time, two Kotwars of the village, Teejlal Patle and Gulab Das Manikpuri were also with him. During the inspection of the land, village resident Ramkumar father Sukhnand Anant (45 years), his wife Aarti Anant (40 years), Bhagwat Chaturvedi father Bholaram (42 years) and Mahesh Gare father Babulal (40 years) reached the spot. Everyone started abusing the Patwari regarding the matter of measuring the land. The accused started pushing and shoving in front of the Patwari. On this the Patwari stopped his work midway. He started taking Panchnama action there. Once again the accused started misbehaving with the Patwari. Seeing this, the Patwari started leaving the spot in car number CG 10 BP 9988 along with two Kotwars.
Seeing this, the accused came in front of the car and started trying to break the door. Patwari came out of the car. The accused snatched the keys and mobile from him. When the Patwari asked for the car keys and mobile back, the accused threatened to kill him, saying he would not come to the village again. Somehow the Patwari left the spot after taking back the keys and mobile. Kota police has arrested the accused.
