Chhattisgarh Housing Board is fulfilling the dream of providing convenient housing to the people of middle and lower income groups in urban areas of Chhattisgarh. The board has sold 2230 properties in the last six months and earned a record revenue of Rs 435 crore, which is much more than the revenue earned in the last five years. The One Time Settlement Scheme-2 has proved to be a game changer in this achievement.

Housing and Environment Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary said that our objective is not just the sale of properties, but to provide a safe and dignified roof to every family. This achievement is the result of the trust of the beneficiaries and the dedication of the team. Now we will work faster towards providing quality based housing.

Chairman of the Housing Board, Shri Anurag Singh Dev, said that the board has planned to launch housing projects at affordable rates in the coming time. Work is being done by the board to make digital registration, e-housing and payment process more simple and transparent. He said that the ‘dream of owning a home’ of more than 2200 families has been fulfilled in just six months. Our goal is to make Chhattisgarh the leading state in the country in the housing revolution.

The Chhattisgarh Housing Board sold an average of 1387 properties every year, with an annual value of about Rs 262 crore. Whereas from March 2025 to August 2025, in just six months, this figure reached 2230 properties and Rs 435 crore. In this, 1070 properties were sold under Atal Vihar and General Housing Scheme for Rs 259 crore and 1160 properties were sold for Rs 176 crore with a discount of up to 30 percent under OTS-2 scheme.

The One Time Settlement Scheme-2 implemented this year by the Chhattisgarh government has given great relief to the common citizens. Under this scheme, 1160 properties worth Rs 176 crore were sold. Earlier, under the OTS-1 scheme implemented from September 2021 to March 2024, only 506 properties could be sold for Rs 88 crore in three years.
