Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced a significant benefit for state government employees, increasing their Dearness Allowance (DA) by 3%. This hike brings the state employees’ DA to 58%, aligning it with the rates provided by the Central Government. The announcement was made during the eighth state convention of the State Employees Union, where the Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to employee welfare. Sai acknowledged the long-standing demand for parity in DA and stated that the decision was made after consultations with union representatives.
