Triveni Ravi had cultivated peanuts on his land, and his son Karan Ravi was reportedly eating the peanuts. This led to a confrontation with their relatives, who then allegedly assaulted the family. Despite seeking help from the authorities, the victims were later attacked while returning home on a motorcycle. They were rushed to the hospital, but the father and elder son succumbed to their injuries.
