Bhilai Crime News: Prateek Chauhan. Raipur/Bhilai. The cantonment police of the fort have arrested 4 youths with drugs worth Rs 50,000. According to the information, the police received information from the informer that four persons were looking for the customer for the sale of intoxicating tablets (pill) near Baikunthadham Maidan Manch. As soon as the information was received, the police took quick action and arrested the accused red handed.
The police recovered 7,425 intoxicating tablets kept in a white carry bag from the four accused, which was estimated at ₹ 49,500. Apart from this, a Pulsar Motorcycle (CG07ck1278), which was also seized ₹ 1,00,000. During interrogation of the accused, Rahul Giri revealed that he had bought this tablet from a person named Akash Rai, a resident of Raipur. At the same time, Ved Prakash Tiwari said that he had bought the said Pulsar motorcycle from the money earned from illegal trade and was used in the sale of drugs.
According to the information, a case was registered against the accused under Section 21 (C) of the NDPS Act and arrested.
