Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, Dr Charandas Mahant, while taking a dig at the presentation of plums from Shivrinarayan by the Cabinet during the Ram Mandir Darshan in Ayodhya, said that it is not the plum season right now, plums are not available either in Shivrinarayan or Raipur, then from where did they take the plums to Ayodhya.

Dr. Mahant said that Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal had selected 75 places where Lord Ram had stepped. Our government had started work at ten places. Along with this, he asked whether even a single brick was laid at any place in the seven months after the BJP government came to power?

Rajesh Munat and other BJP MLAs objected to this. Rajesh Munat said that the public has told you why we lost in Chhattisgarh. On this Mahant said that you people take things in the wrong direction, that is why we lost Ayodhya and Prayagraj. PM Modi has promised to build Shri Ram Circuit, Chhattisgarh’s name is not there in it, get it added.
