Shivam Mishra, Raipur. In the Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation (CGMSC), EOW has arrested five officials late in the scam of crores of rupees. Apart from two GM of CGMSC, Dr. Anil Parsai, Deputy Director of Health Department has also been arrested. EOW has already arrested Shashank Chopra, director of Regent Suppliers Mukshit Corporation in the case. EOW arrested Vasant Kaushik, Dr. Anil Parsai, Shiraundra Rawatia, Kamalkant Patanwar and Deepak Bandhe last night. EOW has taken this action after a long interrogation by summoning a dozen officers of CGMSC and Health Department including two IAS. He is likely to be produced in the EOW court shortly after.
Explain that during the Congress rule, the CGMSC of the Health Department has vacated the treasury of Chhattisgarh through Mukshit Corporation, IAS Yashwant Kumar wrote the letter to Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Pinga, IAS Yashwant Kumar, Principal Accountant General (Audit) of the Indian Accounts and Audit Department.

Poll was open in two years audit
On behalf of the audit team, the documents of FY 2022-24 and 2023-24 were investigated by the CGMSC supply medicine and equipment, while the company had bought Rs 660 crore without budget allocation, which was caught by the audit team. It has been found in the audit that in the last two years, the rules and laws were also ignored in the process of spending more than the required chemical and equipment.

Supply to hospitals without need
776 primary health centers of the state were supplied, out of which there are more than 350 primary health centers, which did not have any technical, manpower and storage facility. According to the audit team, DHS had issued equipment and retirement demand letters without baseling survey and difference analysis in health care facilities.
