CG MORNING NEWS: CM will hold a review meeting of departmental works, Congress will gherao ED office, Chief Minister’s public darshan scheduled for today postponed, Nava Bharat Utsav organized

Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will hold a review meeting of various departmental works today. Chief Minister Sai will review the departments from 11 am to 1 pm. During this meeting, the progress of departmental works and related issues will be discussed. Apart from this, the possible visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also likely to be discussed in the meeting.

Congress will gherao the ED office today

Congress will take to the streets today to protest against the misuse of ED and the conspiracy to implicate opposition leaders. As per the instructions of AICC, Congress workers will stage a sit-in protest and gherao outside the ED office in the capital. After the instructions of the organization, the strategy for the siege has also been decided. Today, a large number of Congress workers including PCC Chief Deepak Baij, Leader of Opposition Charandas Mahant, former CM Bhupesh Baghel and TS Singhdev will participate in the siege of the ED office.

Today’s public darshan postponed

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s weekly public darshan on Thursdays has been postponed this Thursday, 22nd August due to unavoidable reasons.

Nava Bharat Utsav organized

Nava Bharat Utsav is being organized in Raipur today. This program is being organized on the completion of 10 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure. The purpose of this program is to connect the youth with various schemes of the central government. Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal will directly communicate with the youth at Raipur NIT College during this festival. Under this festival, various competitions based on central schemes will be organized in more than 100 colleges including all the central educational institutions of Raipur Lok Sabha constituency, such as AIIMS, NIT, IIT, IIM and CIPET.

ABVP indefinite strike to remove the registrar of Ravishankar University

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has started an indefinite strike from today demanding the removal of the Registrar of Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University. The students allege that despite the Registrar being found guilty in many cases, no action is being taken against him. Due to this, there is anger among the students and they are demanding the removal of the Registrar.

Industry Minister Dewangan on tour to Kondagaon

Minister in charge of Commerce, Industry, Labour and Kondagaon district, Lakhanlal Devangan will be on a one-day visit to Kondagaon district today i.e. on 22nd August. He will leave for Kondagaon district from Raipur by car at 10.30 am. At 2.30 pm, he will discuss with the workers and public representatives of Kondagaon district, after which Minister Devangan will hold a review meeting with departmental officials in the Collector’s Auditorium at 3.10 pm. After this, he will leave for Raipur from Kondagaon at 4.30 pm.
