CG MORNING NEWS: Raipur. The membership campaign of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started in Chhattisgarh from September 3. BJP’s membership campaign is starting from today at the booth level. Under this campaign, party leaders and workers will actively go to the booths and add new members. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will take charge in Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose ward, while state organization general secretary Pawan Sai will perform his responsibility in Mana Camp area. BJP state president Kiran Singh Dev will lead the campaign in the polling centers of Jagdalpur and organization general secretary Sai will lead the campaign in Raipur rural.
‘Digi Yatra’ launched at the airport today
Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu will officially inaugurate the ‘Digi Yatra’ facility being made available at Swami Vivekananda Airport through VC. Naidu will personally launch Digi Yatra at Visakhapatnam Airport and this facility will also be launched at Airports Authority of India’s airports Rar, Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore, Dabolim, Indore, Bagdogra, Ranchi and Patna airports through video conference.
4th National Soft Cricket Championship starts today
The fourth national soft cricket championship organized by the Indian Soft Cricket Federation will be held in Mathura city of Uttar Pradesh from 6 to 8 September. The Chhattisgarh team will represent the state in the competition. The association’s secretary Lokeshwar Rao said that teams from about 20 states will participate in the national cricket competition. The state team has been selected on the basis of their excellent sports performance. The junior boys team of Chhattisgarh includes Rudra Pratap, Trishanu Tarun, Prince Kashyap, Pranjay Mersha, Nam Sharma, Shrijay Tiwari, Divyansh Singh, Abhiyunday Pandey, Atharva Pandey, Mayank, Ishan Chandel and Daksh Chandrasen. The players have won gold medals for the state many times.

The birth anniversary of Lord Shri Balram Ji, considered the god of agriculture, will be celebrated as Kisan Diwas on 9 September 2024 (Bhadrapaksha Shukla Shashthi). On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Balram Ji, a state level function will be organized in the Krishi Mandapam Auditorium at Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur on 9 September at 12 noon. On this occasion, a one-day workshop on the subject of “Natural and Cow Based Agriculture” will also be organized for the farmers of the state. This program is being organized under the joint aegis of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur, Department of Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare and Biotechnology, Government of Chhattisgarh and Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Chhattisgarh Province.
Industry Minister on visit to Korba district
Commerce, Industry and Labor Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan will go to Korba from Raipur today on 6 September. According to the information received, the Cabinet Minister will leave Raipur at 4 pm and reach Charpara Kohadia District Korba at 7 pm.
National Lok Adalat organized in Surguja district on 21st September
National Lok Adalat will be organized in the district on 21 September 2024. A bench has been set up for the successful conduct of the National Lok Adalat. In which the Collector, Additional Collector, Nazul Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue, Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar will be the presiding officers of the respective bench and the Officer-in-Charge, Revenue Branch will be the nodal officer. The above revenue officers will dispose of revenue criminal, land acquisition, RBC 6-4 and miscellaneous cases on September 21 using the powers conferred by law under their jurisdiction and as soon as the court period ends, the information of the disposed cases will be sent to the District Collector’s office through email, WhatsApp, fax or special carrier.
