Arvind Mishra, Balodabazar. There was a stir when a sudden fire broke out late night in the house of an agriculture officer residing in Srishti Colony of the city. The officer’s wife and three-year-old child were at home at the time of the incident. On receiving information about the incident, police and fire brigade teams immediately reached the spot. The fire was brought under control before it could spread further and a major accident was averted. It is not known how the incident happened and how the fire broke out in the bedroom. There was also a kitchen room adjacent to the room. If the cylinder where it was kept had burst, it could have caused a major accident.
According to the information received, a police inspector has shifted to live on rent in the same house. Who immediately informed his officers about the incident. Due to which the police and army team reached the spot and controlled the fire. On receiving information about the incident, senior police officers also reached the spot. At present, Honey Sahu is posted as Agriculture Officer, Dhamtari. At present it is not clear how the fire started. The reason will become clear only after investigation.
