Sudhir Sahu, Raipur. Near Kumhari toll plaza, a bus filled with employees went out of control and fell into a 50 feet deep gorge. 6 people died in this accident. There are 14 people injured, out of which the condition of more than 5 people is said to be critical. It is being told that the number of dead may increase further. However, the death toll has not been confirmed by the police yet.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started rescue operations. District administration and police officers are present at the spot. It is being told that this accident happened in Murum mine on Khapri Road in Kumhari. The employees of Kedia Distillery were returning from the plant in a bus when this accident happened. It is being told that there were 40 people in the bus. All the injured are being brought to Raipur.
