CBI Raid in CG: Raipur. The CBI team has raided this morning at the residence of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in Raipur and Bhilai. Apart from this, his former political advisor senior journalist Vinod Verma, IPS Sheikh Arif, IPS Anand Chhabra, IPS Abhishek Maheshwari, IPS Abhishek Pallav, former IAS Anil Tuteja, Additional SP Sanjay Dhruv, IPS Prashant Aggarwal and Congress MLA Devendra Yadav have also been raided by CBI.
According to sources, this action is related to the Mahadev Satta App case on the locations of former CM Bhupesh Baghel, leaders and officials.
Bhupesh Baghel’s response to CBI action
Bhupesh Baghel, reacting to this action, posted on X (Twitter) that now CBI has come. He informed that former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is scheduled to go to Delhi today for the meeting of the “Drafting Committee” formed for the AICC meeting to be held in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) on April 8 and 9. Before that, CBI has reached Raipur and Bhilai residences.
