Raipur. During the Question Hour in the Assembly on Thursday, Congress MLAs Sandeep Sahu and Kunwar Singh Nishad raised the matter of irregularity in the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana. The legislators accused the name of the plan of fierce disturbances and demanded investigation and action.
MLA Sandeep Sahu said that Rs 33 lakh was spent in the marriage of 16 joints in Balod, while according to the rule, a couple has to spend 50 thousand. In this way 8 lakhs should be spent. At the same time, Kunwar Singh Nishad said that in different places there are different expenses instead of rules in marriage. A mess of 53 lakh rupees has been done. On this, Minister Lakshmi Rajwade replied that 50 thousand rupees is expected to be married on a couple. The wedding is being organized with full transparency.
